Ashland Fiber having network issues
There was some AFN issues starting about 4pm yesterday. As of this note, I've worked with Ashland home net and gotten our network connection reset. Things are looking better now.

Network was Down
Power cycled our cable modem, it came back up. Bandwidth graphs showed it went down last night around midnight, so the outage lasted from about midnight to 8am.

Disk Failure
A disk drive went out on our server earlier today. I replaced the disk with a spare and rebuilt the mirrored RAID array. Everything should be back to normal now.

Network Operating Normally
I never got confirmation that anything was fixed, but the network does appear to be functioning properly for the past two weeks.

Still seems to be having issues. I still plan on following up tomorrow with AFN and Ashland Home Networks for resolution.

Network appears to be better.
I called Ashland Home Networks at 4, and was told that they have no status from AFN. However, my internal tools are showing that the connection appears to be better, so I am guessing that the folks at AFN have been working on it.

Replacement modem did not resolve the issue.
Robert at Ashland Home Networks is filing a service ticket with AFN. I know I was telling people on Sunday that I thought it was an AFN issue... my apologies that the usual process with the ISPs is to troubleshoot the customer's equipment first, and if the problem cannot be proven to first be the customer side then they start working on the upstream side, so it takes some time to convince the "powers that be" that they are the ones with an issue. Hopefully once AFN gets the ticket it can be resolved quickly.
Network is still very slow.
Called Ashland Home Net. They don't see anything wrong from their end, so they offered us a loaner cable modem to swap out to see if the modem is the problem. I will go pick it up shortly.

Network is very slow.
It appears to have gone down at 11:30pm last night and remains slow this morning. Our ISP does not have Sunday service hours, so I will call first thing Monday morning if the network remains in this state.
